Domaine Millet

Philippe Millet settled a piece of land named "la Ferme de Marcault" in the mid 60s and established Domaine Millet in the early 80s. He proceeded to plant 9 hectares of Petit Chablis and went on to acquire vines in AOC Chablis and AOC Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin. Philippe decided that he would not limit himself solely to the production of good grapes, but that he would do the vinification and the commercialization as well.
Having completed a Bachelor degree in Agriculture and studies in viticulture in Beaune, Paterne, the eldest of the two sons, went to work with his father in 1987. In 1998 after "Ecole Supérieure de Commerce" Baudouin joined father and brother. Several years ago Philippe passed the family business to his capable sons. Paterne and Baudouin continue to develop the estate which is now 14 hectares.

Domaine William Fèvre

Domaine Laroche

The history of Domaine Laroche dates back to 1850 and is deeply related to the one of Chablis. The constant search for the very best terroirs is part of its DNA.  As climate makes things more difficult in Chablis, viticulture practices should be impeccable, and this is another major preoccupation for Laroche. Modern equipment and sound winemaking are the next tasks to which Laroche pays very much attention, to bring the famous Kimmeridgian limestone-based terroir into the glass.
The Obédiencerie is a former monastery built in the IXth century. This is now part of the National Heritage. L’Obédiencerie has been owned by Domaine Laroche since 1985. Its barrel-fermented Premier and Grand Cru wines are aged there, in the birth place of the Chablis wines. In 2010, Laroche celebrated its 160th vintage and joined the Advini group.

Louis Michel et Fils

The Michel family has been cultivating their passion for tradition and the Chablis terroir since 1850.
The winery is situated right in the heart of the village, with the 25-hectare vineyard spread over the very first slopes that were discovered by Cistercian monks in the 11th century. 40 years ago, the family decided to stop making the wine in wooden barrels, preferring to create clean, pure and precise Chablis without adding artificial woody tastes. Through this philosophy, combined with the limited yields inspired by organic wine-growing techniques, the Domaine has developed a worldwide reputation for fine wine-making in stainless steel tanks. Today, the Domaine is managed by Jean-Loup Michel and his nephew, Guillaume Gicqueau-Michel, who is continuing the family tradition.

Domaine Louis Moreau

The Domaine Louis Moreau was born from the passion of a family settled in Chablis in 1814. As soon as the late 19th century, the love of this family for great wines brought them to purchase Grand Cru and Premier Cru. Nowadays, owner of five hectares of Grand Cru, including a monopole, the domaine works many plots within the appellations of Petit Chablis, Chablis and Premier Cru, in full respect for the environment. The most prestigious of its wines is the monopole Chablis Grand Cru Clos des Hospices in Les Clos, whose acquisition was made by the Moreau family in 1904.

Domaine Christian Moreau Père et Fils

In 1972, after 11 years in Canada, Christian MOREAU returned to Chablis with his Canadian wife, Christine, and their three sons, Philippe, Patrick and Fabien. Under the guiding hand of his father Guy, Christian began to learn and master the art of winemaking. Fabien, a member of the sixth generation of the family to be involved in winemaking, obtained his National Degree in Oenology in Dijon and a Masters in Business  Administration at the E.N.I.T.A in Bordeaux. He then went to New Zealand for a year to study the country's winemaking practices. In December 2001, Fabien returned to Chablis and took over as Managing Director and Head Winemaker at the Domaine Christian MOREAU Père et Fils.

Domaine des Malandes

Lyne MARCHIVE is a member of an old Chablis wine family, the Tremblays, and has run her own wine estate since 1972. These days she is in charge of the Domaine des MALANDES (29 ha) and works with the help of her wine maker, Guénolé BRETEAUDEAU, an  oenologist who joined her in 2006. Both in the vineyards and in the cellars, their approach is to respect the environment, aiming for quality and typicity in their wines. The Domaine des Malandes exports 90% of its production.
