After an exceptional year in 2021, when lockdown was lifted and exports to the USA were up 26% by volume and 54% in terms of value, things returned to a more normal pace of growth in 2022. Although shipments were down by 10%, they were still up on the five-year average.


Furthermore, the percentage of Chablis wines in Bourgogne shipments has been rising steadily, accounting for 25% of white Bourgogne wine sales in 2022, and more than 15% of sales by volume, all colors combined.
