VIGNOBLES & DÉCOUVERTES

Tasting cellars

The Chablis wine region, an official “Vignobles & Découvertes” destination since 2012, offers a complete wine tourism experience, including dining and lodging, visits of wine cellars and wine domains as well as sites of local interest, leisure activities, and wine festivals.  Participating establishments can be recognized by the green “Vignobles & Découvertes” logo.

The logo identifies a group of French wine producers and providers of touristic services who make available their savoir-faire on the theme of wine. The objective is to identify and promote high-quality wine tourism.

The “Vignobles & Découvertes” designation is a useful aid in organizing your wine-themed visit, one which identifies a variety of relevant resources. It guides you towards a select group of establishments that will provide high-quality services.

Visit our member wine cellars:  a unique way to discover the wine region !

The participating wine cellars are committed to being as helpful as possible in transmitting their knowledge, and in introducing you to the secrets of the Chablis terroir and winemaking. You will discover how the Chardonnay grape expresses itself in the Portlandian and Kimmeridgian limestone setting of Chablis. The learning process includes tastings of all four Chablis appellations: Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru, and Chablis Grand Cru.

You will find a list of the member wine cellars in Bourgogne in the guide: «Guide des caves Vignobles & Découvertes».  Use it to plan your visit to l’Yonne!

The Bourgogne Wine Board coordinates the study « Qualité Oenotourisme Bourgogne » which underlies the attribution of the label to touristic establishments.
