La Chablisienne wins numerous nods at the International Wine Challenge 2020

On 26 November 2020, the results of the 38th International Wine Challenge were announced in London. La Chablisienne was once again recognized with the award of two prizes:

- IWC French White Wine 2020 for the Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2017
- IWC White Winemaker of the Year 2020 for enologist Vincent Bartement

The International Wine Challenge is one of the world’s most influential competitions. The jury is made up from experts from the international wine industry and the competition judges the best wines from across the globe. This year, 52 producing territories were represented.

The jury also awarded several gold medals to wines from the cooperative:

- Chablis Grand Cru, Château Grenouilles, 2017
- Chablis Grand Cru, Bougros, 2017
- Chablis Grand Cru, Blanchot, 2017
- Chablis Premier Cru, Côte de Léchet, 2017
- Chablis Premier Cru, Montmains, 2017

The La Chablisienne cooperative was created in 1923 and is the only cooperative cellar in the Chablis region. With no fewer than 270 winegrower members, it represents around one quarter of the region’s total wine production and produces more than 300 different cuvées every year.
