Fleurs de Vigne 2025 : Come sample the wines of the Yonne
Fleurs de Vigne, a celebration of Chablis and Grand Auxerrois wines, is now an annual event. The 2025 edition will be held on the banks of the Yonne in Auxerre on Sunday 25 May from 11am to 6pm.
Fleurs de Vigne is a gourmet treat and a great opportunity for visitors to meet local winegrowers and discover the rich diversity of Bourgogne wines.
Many winegrowers will be in attendance to share their expertise and passion about all things wine. Buy a tasting glass for just €6 and taste different appellations from across the Chablis and Grand Auxerrois regions, including Chablis, Bourgogne Chitry, Bourgogne Côtes d'Auxerre, Bourgogne Côte Saint-Jacques, Bourgogne Coulanges-la-Vineuse, Bourgogne Epineuil, Bourgogne Tonnerre, Irancy, Saint-Bris, Vézelay, and IGP Yonne.
The event kicks off at 11am with a traditional parade of brotherhoods starting at the Abbey Saint-Germain. This will be followed by a series of inductions into the different fraternités. There is also plenty of wine- and food-themed entertainment throughout the day including:
- Refreshment stands
- Introductions to wine tasting
- A guided themed tasting
- "The Wine Trail” escape game
- Guided tours of the Clos de la Chainette estate
- And plenty more such as musical and dance performances and face painting
